All I do for versions is ignore the actual version number and just use a date with the name:

Project20091130 

Change the date everytime you save and you&#039;ve got it. No file organization and you can also look at the Details to see the last save date if can&#039;t figure out which version is which. Just grab the most recent and see if it looks right. 

Good luck with organizing. A new year coming up - this could be your year to organize.
