Bishop returns to Romania for the first time in centuries to look for a friend when the infamous Huntress finds him and captures him. Marika, a Halfling, is hoping to use him to get to the vampire she really wants, Saint, who she believes killed her mother. During Bishop’s imprisonment, Marika learns that in addition to being a vampire, Bishop is also a man. And when he saves her life, he becomes something far more dear. They soon realize that they must work together to defeat a common enemy: the Order of the Silver Palm.
This book is absolutely amazing! Yet another keeper. It is full of sizzling passion, heart-stopping emotion and non stop edge-of-your-seat action. Bishop is a rugged, endearing hero that stole my heart as he’d be more than willing to die for those he loves. What a man! He can bite my neck anytime. Marika is a strong, honest heroine that was in every part his equal. It was wonderful to watch her come to terms and finally accept and embrace her true self. Both Bishop and Marika are memorable, admirable characters that were perfect for each other.
If I had to describe this book in one word, it would be: HOT! Hot cover, hot hero, hot heroine, hot love scenes, hot story! Night of the Huntress lived up to each and every one of my expectations and I am very much looking forward to the next installment in this series, Saint’s story, which will be released in November. Kathryn Smith is well on her way to becoming one of the greatest romance authors of our time. Brava!
