Greetings!
Yes, I’m back. A day late, but I made it. My apologies for running late. Bear with me. I’m beginning to think that I’m blog-challenged. I admire all of you who do this routinely.
But I’m here now. A little more experienced than a few months ago, a little more [...]

You may wonder what all this new buzz is about but we here at RI are busy little bees getting things worked up for a huge (I mean HUGE) announcement. First we introduce the RI newsletter and have big contests. Well trust me it’s going to get even better.

Lacey posed the question: For a first book, is it “easier” to publish a character-driven plot than one full of sub-plot and external characters?
Lacey, do you mean easier to WRITE or easier to SELL? Either way, I would have to say it depends. It depends on the author’s writing strengths. A plot-driven book [...]

Thank you, Sylvia Day, for blogging here at RI this past week. We’re so spoiled not only did we get a glimpse of what was the RWA Conference like but, we got two excerpts of “Ask For It” and “The Stranger I Married”. Sylvia, we hope to have you here again in the future! [...]
