We’ve moved the forum to a more secure server with assurances that the transfer would be seamless. Not. Unfortunately Mary and I are both traveling to Atlanta early tomorrow but will hole up in the hotel room and try and get this resolved as quickly as possible.It’s evidently a matter of the domain transferring from one server to another. About 24 hours I think…Hopefully we’ll be back up soon…I’m going to post a note on the main page!
I just figured since a good many of us are addicted to this site I might tell ya’ll whats going on with it.
Have a good evening and rest assured that our addiction should be back tomorrow.
Ah well that answers my concern about the avon message board. Thanks, I’m sure they’ll have it up and running as soon as possible. We romance junkies need our “fix” don’t we? lol.

Haven, thank you so much for posting this here. I was worried when I tried to visit the site this morning only to find a page of undiscernable (sp?) letters and characters in its place.
Don’t you just know something like this would happen when Mary and Sally are away!

Ahhh!!! Thanks for letting us all know what is going on with the boards. I noticed this late last night and then again this morning. I need my fix!! I don’t know what to do without my boards, I guess I can find something to clean.
July 26th, 2006 at 10:24 amWell, don’t only thank me, thank Clarisse from the boards, she is the one who sent me the email. I had emailed Sally as well but it seems Clarisse was put in charge of telling the insane line behind her haha.
With any luck the site will return to our normal addiction soon. I’m hoping while I still have fingernails lol.
